Accommodation for trade fairs in Poznań – a guide
Poznań International Fair (MTP) is one of the largest exhibition centres in Central Europe. Dozens of events take place here every year – from construction and food industry fairs to festivals and sports events. Finding reasonably priced accommodation in a good location can be challenging, especially during the biggest events.

Why is accommodation during fairs expensive?
During fair days, hotels in Poznań city centre and near MTP regularly raise their prices. A room that normally costs 200 PLN can jump to 500–700 PLN during BUDMA or Polagra. On top of that:
- Parking near MTP – 50–80 PLN/day during fairs
- No availability – the closest hotels sell out weeks before the event
- No VAT invoices – many budget properties do not issue invoices
That is why more and more exhibitors and visitors look for an alternative outside the centre – with good transport links, a fixed price, and parking.

By bus (fastest)
- From the Grodziska stop (2 min from Nest) take bus 159
- Get off at Rondo Kaponiera or Bałtyk – you are at the MTP entrance from ul. Roosevelta
- Time: approx. 10 minutes
By car
Ul. Grodziska → Głogowska → Roosevelta → MTP. The drive takes 5–10 minutes (without traffic). On fair days, traffic on Głogowska can extend the drive to 20 minutes – bus 159 bypasses the congestion.
On foot / by bike
1.8 km along ul. Głogowska – about 20–25 minutes on foot. By city bike (Poznański Rower Miejski) about 8 minutes.
